PawPaw Rod, a rapper and singer born in Hawaii and raised in Oklahoma, discovered his passion for writing at a young age while traveling as a military brat. His debut single "HIT EM WHERE IT HURTS," released in 2020 by GODMODE, blends rap, 60s soul, and house effortlessly. Following this, he released a trio of EPs: "A PawPaw Rod EP" (2021), "Another PawPaw Rod EP" (2022), and his latest release, "This Must Be A PawPaw Rod EP."

In reference to his latest EP, "This Must Be A PawPaw Rod EP," Rod expresses his creative intent, stating, "October 13th I drop my best music yet, I really just make shit I want to hear with hopes my future great grandkids listen one day and know they had family out there making songs about love, joy and journey they can be proud of."
