Biography

Patrick Samoy began his music production career at the young age of 18 in 1988, gaining recognition for his remixes, compositions, and collaborations with artists and studios throughout the 90s. Notably, he was a member of the renowned Belgian DJ remixers group, The Unity Mixers. In 1994, Patrick founded the Eurodance group Paradisio, where he served as composer and co-author for their original titles, including the chart-topping hit "Bailando." The song achieved massive success, selling 5 million copies worldwide and solidifying Paradisio's status as an international sensation.

Paradisio's discography boasts other popular tracks like "Vamos a la Discoteca," "Bandolero," and "Luz de la Luna," among others, culminating in a Greatest Hits release in August 2016 to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The group's achievements include gold records in countries such as Spain, Portugal, and Denmark, double gold records in France and Belgium, and platinum records in Germany and Sweden, reflecting their widespread acclaim and commercial success.
