Peter Wadams, known as P-Money, was inspired to pursue DJing after watching DJ Jazzy Jeff's "Live at Union Square." He honed his skills by studying videos of the DMC World DJ Championships and eventually made a name for himself in the New Zealand hip-hop scene, collaborating with artists like Scribe and Che-Fu. P-Money's debut album, Big Things, showcased the local talent and helped establish the country's hip-hop scene with hits like "Not Many."
His success continued with the release of his second album, Magic City, which featured collaborations with American rappers like Akon and Skillz. P-Money's cross-genre collaborations earned him accolades at the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards, solidifying his reputation as a top hip-hop producer in the country. Additionally, his work with singer Vince Harder on the track "Everything" showcased his versatility and ability to adapt to different musical styles.
