He was known for his innovative guitar style and intense vocal delivery, earning praise for his work with Cobra Records in the late '50s. Despite facing setbacks with various record labels, Rush continued to release music and gain recognition throughout the '70s and '80s, culminating in a comeback with his acclaimed album "Ain't Enough Comin' In" in 1994. However, his career was cut short by a debilitating stroke in 2003, leading to his passing in 2018 at the age of 83.
