Biography
Minneapolis punk band Off with Their Heads, led by guitarist/vocalist Ryan Young, evolved from a high-speed melodic rock sound to full-length albums like 2013's Home and 2019's Be Good. The band, formed in 2002 with members from various punk and hardcore bands, initially released EPs and split 7" records, maintaining a revolving lineup for constant touring. Following a mental breakdown during the Home tour, Young regrouped for 2016's Won't Be Missed and continued with Be Good in 2019, reflecting on his move to Chicago. Despite the pandemic halting touring in 2020, Off with Their Heads released Character, followed by the compilation Calm/Collected in 2022.

Young's anxious punk songs, accompanied by drummer Justin Francis, continued evolving through albums like Home and Be Good. After a hiatus due to personal struggles, Off with Their Heads returned with acoustic releases and the pandemic-inspired Character EP, leading up to the compilation Calm/Collected in 2022.
