Notis Sfakianakis

Born on November 2, 1959, on the island of Crete, Notis Sfakianakis grew up on the Greek island of Kos before returning to Crete to pursue a career in music. He began as a disc jockey in his early twenties, forming his first band in 1985 and eventually catching the attention of Sony in Greece. Sfakianakis quickly rose to fame with hits like "Proti-Fora" and "You Are a Gun," achieving great success with multiple platinum-selling albums and popular singles such as "O Aetos" and "Ligo Ligo."

In addition to his musical accomplishments, Sfakianakis engaged in philanthropy, funding cultural centers and schools through the proceeds of his albums and tours. He continued to release successful albums like "Notes Are Immortal" and "A Herald," touring extensively in Europe, North America, and Australia. With a string of multi-platinum records and a dedicated fan base, Sfakianakis solidified his status as one of Greece's most prominent music stars.
