Biography

Formed in 1986, No Doubt began as a ska band inspired by Madness, with an initial lineup of John Spence, Gwen Stefani, and Eric Stefani. Following Spence's tragic death, the band continued to evolve, adding members and refining their sound. Despite early setbacks with their debut album, No Doubt persevered and gained regional recognition through their energetic live performances.

By the mid-'90s, No Doubt achieved mainstream success with the release of Tragic Kingdom, featuring hit singles like "Just a Girl" and "Don't Speak." The band continued to thrive with subsequent albums, including The Return of Saturn and Rock Steady, before embarking on a hiatus in the mid-2000s. No Doubt returned to the music scene in 2009, releasing Push and Shove in 2012. As Gwen Stefani pursued a successful solo career, other band members explored new musical ventures, such as forming the band DREAMCAR in 2016.
