Biography

Hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, Nine Lashes is a Christian alternative rock band that formed in 2006. Comprising guitarist Adam Jefferson, his brother Jonathan Jefferson, bassist Jared Lankford, lead singer Jeremy Dunn, and drummer Noah Terrell, they gained recognition with their debut LP, Escape, in 2009. Their breakthrough came when musician/producer Trevor McNevan of Tooth & Nail Records discovered them and helped release their successful album, World We View, in 2012. The band's third album, From Water to War, followed in early 2014, solidifying their presence in the Christian rock scene.
