Biography
Necry Talkie, a rock band based in Japan, was formed in 2017 by main composer/guitarist Asahi, Mossa on vocals and guitar, Kazuma Takei on drums, and Fujita on bass. In 2019, Ayaka Nakamura joined the band as their only support member, solidifying Necry Talkie as a 5-piece rock band.
Known for their playful pop melodies that blend Japanese music, western rock, pop, and video game influences, Necry Talkie gained popularity for Mossa's charming voice. Their first full-length album, "ONE!" released on December 7, 2018, gained viral success with tracks like "Oshare Daisakusen" and "Kongaragatta!" The band made their major debut on Sony Music Associated Records with their second album, "ZOO!!" on January 29, 2020, featuring the standout track "Hokujouno Susume." Necry Talkie's third album, "FREAK," released on May 19, 2021, includes the opening theme song for the TV anime "Eagle Talon ~Golden Spell~." Their latest album, "TORCH," released on February 21, 2024, features the opening theme songs for the TV anime series "Girlfriend, Girlfriend" and the Netflix series "Scott Pilgrim Takes Off." Additionally, the band has released "self-covered" mini-albums titled "MEMORIES" in 2019 and "MEMORIES2" in 2022. Asahi, also known as vocaloid producer "Ishifuro," showcases his works through Necry Talkie's renditions.
