Emerging in the late 1980s, Nekromantix is a Danish-American psychobilly band known for their punk rock and rockabilly fusion with a horror-themed twist. Led by founder Kim Nekroman, the band has released albums like Hellbound (1989), Return of the Loving Dead (2002), and Symphony of Wolf Tones & Ghost Notes (2016). Nekroman, who left a career in the Royal Danish Navy to start the band, has seen lineup changes over the years, with Lux and Adam Guerrero joining as members in later albums.
Signed to Hellcat Records, a subsidiary of Epitaph Records, Nekromantix made their U.S. debut with Return of the Loving Dead in 2002. The band has toured extensively in Europe and Japan, with notable releases like Curse of the Coffin (1991) and Life Is a Grave & I Dig It! (2007). Tragically, drummer Andy DeMize passed away in 2009, leading to Lux becoming the first female member of the band. Nekromantix continues to captivate audiences with their unique blend of music and horror-inspired theatrics.
