Biography

Müslüm Gürses began his singing career in 1965 at a young age in Adana, performing at a tea garden and later at the Halkevi. After winning a competition at the Adana Aile Çay Bahçesi in 1967, he gained recognition for his voice. Gürses started releasing his first singles in 1968, with his debut being "Emmioğlu/Ovada Taşa Basma" under Ömür Plak.

Throughout his career, Gürses released a total of 4 singles with Ömür Plak and achieved a significant milestone with the release of "Kervanlar/Vurma Güzel Vurma," which sold 300,000 copies. He continued to release music in Istanbul after completing his military service, collaborating with various record labels such as Palandöken, Bestefon, Hülya Plak, and Çın Çın Plak, producing a total of 34 singles.
