Dominic "Mocky" Salole is a versatile musician known for his work as a performer, producer, songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. He gained recognition in the Berlin electronic scene in the mid-2000s before transitioning to a jazz-inflected acoustic sound with the release of "Saskamodie" in 2009. Mocky later relocated to Los Angeles, where he collaborated with artists like Feist and Kelela, ultimately releasing albums such as "Key Change" and "Music Save Me (One More Time)." In addition to his music career, Mocky ventured into soundtrack work, winning Best Score at the Anime Awards for his collaboration with director Shinichiro Watanabe on "Carole and Tuesday."
In 2021, Mocky released the orchestral album "Overtones For The Omniverse" and began a series of funky instrumentals titled "Goosebumps Per Minute." His career continued to flourish, leading to a signing with the renowned LA label Stones Throw Records in 2025.
