Mitch Hedberg

Mitch Hedberg, a comedian originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, began his comedy career in Florida before moving to Seattle and touring the Pacific Northwest. His breakthrough came in 1996 with an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, leading to various opportunities including winning the grand prize at the Seattle Comedy Competition and securing a development deal with Fox for a sitcom. Tragically, Hedberg's promising career was cut short when he passed away at the age of 37 in 2005 due to a heart attack caused by "multiple drug toxicity." Despite his untimely death, his legacy lives on through posthumous releases such as the 2008 collection Do You Believe in Gosh?
