Since 2003, Misery Index has released six studio albums, multiple EPs, and performed over 1000 concerts in 44 countries. The band, initially a studio project led by vocalist/bassist Jason Netherton, guitarist/vocalist Mike Harrison, and drummer Kevin Talley, debuted with the EP "Overthrow" before releasing albums like "Retaliate" (2003), "Discordia" (2006), and "Traitors" (2008) on labels like Relapse Records and Nuclear Blast Records. Their sixth album, "Rituals of Power" (2019), marked their highest charting release and featured the hit single "New Salem," leading to tours with bands like Napalm Death and Nails. In 2022, Misery Index signed with Century Media Records for the release of their upcoming album "Complete Control" on May 13th.
