The Minutemen, known for their eclectic sound and politically revolutionary ethos, were a pioneering hardcore band of the '80s. Constantly on the move, the trio swiftly shifted between genres and gained a dedicated cult following through relentless touring. Despite the tragic death of guitarist/vocalist D. Boon in 1985, their legacy continued to influence generations of musicians, overshadowing the later project fIREHOSE formed by bassist Mike Watt and drummer George Hurley.
