Biography

Men at Work, a new wave band from Australia, gained international success in 1982 with their debut album, Business as Usual, featuring hits like "Who Can It Be Now?" and "Down Under." The band, formed in 1978 by Colin Hay and Ron Strykert, disbanded in 1985 after releasing their third album, Two Hearts.

Colin Hay, originally from Scotland, founded Men at Work with Ron Strykert in Melbourne. The band quickly rose to fame in Australia and internationally, winning a Grammy for Best New Artist in 1982. After disbanding, Hay pursued a solo career with limited success. Men at Work briefly reunited in the '90s and continued to make occasional live appearances, until the passing of member Greg Ham in 2012.
