Los Angeles-born musician, composer, and producer Frank Maston, now based in Paris, has released five albums under his surname Maston and has also produced and mixed music for various artists. Maston's musical journey began in his teenage years in LA, where he honed his craft in writing and recording. His debut full-length LP "Shadows" in 2013 received acclaim, with Pitchfork dubbing him a "bedroom-pop genius."
Inspired by extensive touring in Europe after "Shadows," Maston's second album "Tulips" in 2017 showcased influences from vintage French and Italian soundtrack and library music. A commission from famed library music label KPM resulted in the 2021 release of "Panorama," followed by his fourth album "Souvenir," recorded live with Swiss quintet L’éclair as his backing band.
