Netherlands-based DJ Mason, born Iason Chronis, discovered his passion for DJing as a teenager, starting off by spinning at parties before becoming a resident DJ at Electronation. In 2006, he achieved chart success with the single "Exceeder" and went on to establish his own label, Animal Language, releasing hits like "Front Row Chemistry" and "The Amsterdam Tapes." Mason's albums "They Are Among Us" in 2011 and "Zoa" in 2014 featured collaborations with renowned artists like Kurtis Blow and Big Boi, leading to his 2015 hit "Fashion Killa (Papapapa)" topping the Betaport charts.

In 2016, Mason signed with Island Records and collaborated with Azealia Banks before parting ways due to controversial comments made by Banks. He then worked with U.K. grime artists Stefflon Don, featuring them on his successful single "Fashion Killa (Papapapa)" and later mixing the Toolroom Miami Poolside album in the same year. Throughout his career, Mason has showcased his diverse talents as a DJ, producer, and violinist, consistently pushing boundaries in the electronic music scene.
