Marcos Witt

Marcos Witt, a pastor and Christian music artist, was born Jonathan Mark Witt in San Antonio, TX. He studied classical music at the University of Juarez in Durango, Mexico. Witt released his debut album, Adoremos!, in 1992, followed by five more albums in the 1990s. In 2003, he won a Latin Grammy for his sixth album, Sana Nuestra Tierra. Sony signed him and released his seventh album, Recordando Otra Vez, in 2004, which also earned him a Latin Grammy in 2005. Witt received another Latin Grammy in 2006 for Best Christian Album for Dios Es Bueno. Alegria, his first album recorded in Chile, was released later that year.
