Dutch producer Mark van der Schoot, known as Maduk, rose to fame in 2011 through the Liquicity Drum & Bass YouTube channel, where his liquid drum & bass track "Avalon" gained popularity. Teaming up with Maris Goudzwaard, Maduk co-founded the Liquicity label and club nights in Amsterdam, leading to multiple successful releases and accolades, including best newcomer DJ and Producer at the Drum&Bass Awards in 2014 & 2015. In 2016, Maduk released his debut album "Never Give Up" on Hospital Records.
Following the success of his debut album, Maduk focused on building the Liquicity brand, which now hosts one of the largest Drum & Bass festivals globally and boasts a growing community with sold-out shows across Europe. After a hiatus, Maduk returned to Liquicity in early 2019 and released his second studio album "Transformations" in 2021, further solidifying his standing in the drum & bass scene.
