Madcon, a duo composed of Tshawe Baqwa and Yosef Wolde-Mariam, emerged from the Oslo underground scene in 1992, gradually building their reputation in Norway before achieving international success. Their breakthrough came in 2004 with the hit single "Beggin" from their debut album "It's All a Madcon," which topped the charts in Norway and made waves globally, even entering the Billboard Hot 100. The duo continued to make a mark on the music scene with performances at the Eurovision Song Contest and collaborations with artists like Kelly Rowland, Snoop Dogg, and Rick Ross.

In 2013, Madcon's album "Icon" reached #1 in Norway, featuring notable tracks such as "One Life" with Kelly Rowland and "Is You With Me" with Snoop Dogg.
