Lunachicks

Emerging from NYC’s punk scene, Lunachicks gained recognition in iconic venues like CBGB and The Limelight before their debut album, "Babysitters on Acid," was released by Blast First in 1990. Over the years, the band toured extensively, sharing stages with acts like The Ramones and The Offspring, and playing at festivals such as The Reading Festival and Warped Tour.

Following the departure of a member in 1997, Lunachicks continued as a quartet, refining their sound while maintaining their signature satirical style. Though their touring days ended in 2001, they reunited briefly in 2004 for a special performance in DC. Since then, individual members have pursued various musical projects, with a recent reunion announcement in 2020 leading to rescheduled live shows and the release of their memoir, "Fallopian Rhapsody," in collaboration with Hachette Books.
