Luca Carboni

Born in Bologna on October 6, 1962, Luca Carboni developed a passion for music at a young age, playing in rock groups influenced by punk and new wave in the early '80s. His debut solo album, ...Intanto Dustin Hoffman Non Sbaglia un Film, sold over 30,000 copies, followed by the successful release of Forever, which sold more than 70,000 units. His self-titled album, featuring hits like "Silvio Lo Sai" and "Farfallina," sold an impressive 700,000 copies and propelled him onto Italy's Hit Parade. Despite criticism for being perceived as shallow, Carboni's international success grew as he continued to release new music every two years, touring the U.S. and Europe between 2003 and 2007, solidifying his position in the Italian music industry.
