Biography

LSD and the Search for God emerged on the Northern California music scene in 2005, captivating audiences with their hypnotic blend of swirling guitars, dreamy harmonies, and fuzzed-out pop melodies reminiscent of iconic bands like My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth. Their self-titled debut EP, released in 2007, quickly sold out and continues to receive critical acclaim, solidifying their status in the underground psych and shoegaze scene.

Following the success of their debut, LSD released their second EP, "Heaven Is a Place," in 2016 to further critical acclaim. The addition of Ricky Maymi from Brian Jonestown Massacre on drums added a new dimension to their sound, earning praise from outlets like Pop Matters and Primal Music. Currently, the band is working on a new record to continue their psychedelic musical journey.
