Biography
Los Prisioneros, a Chilean band led by Jorge González, Claudio Narea, and Miguel Tapia, rose to prominence in the 1980s, becoming one of the most influential Latin rock acts. Their debut album in 1984, featuring the hit song "La Voz De Los '80s," quickly garnered attention and paved the way for their success. The band's popularity soared with the release of Pateando Piedras in 1986, leading to international performances and recognition, including being the first band broadcast on MTV Latino. Despite their success, internal conflicts led to their disbandment in 1991 following the release of their hit song "Tren Al Sur" from the album Corazones.
