Biography

In the past two years, Los Mesoneros, comprised of Luis Jimenez (Lagos), Juan Sucre, and Carlos Sardi, have rapidly ascended to become a prominent force in Latin American pop rock. Following multiple Latin Grammy nominations and a string of sold-out shows in major cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Caracas, Buenos Aires, and Santiago, the band concluded with two packed performances at Mexico City's iconic Teatro Metropólitan. Their success led to coveted spots on the main stages of Lollapalooza Chile and Monterrey's Pal Norte festival.

Returning to the studio after their live triumphs, Los Mesoneros completed their highly anticipated fourth album, "Nuestro Año." The record showcases an expanded sound, blending their bold lyrical content, melodic sweetness, frenetic tempos, and distorted guitars with vintage keyboards, string arrangements, nods to '70s pop and rock, and hints of hip-hop. The band's lyrics reflect nostalgia and longing, illustrating a mature evolution not just in their music but also in their poetic expression. In 2024, they will extensively tour their latest material across the United States and throughout Mexico.
