Biography

Alegres de la Sierra, a Mexican group from San Blas, Sinaloa, began as a quartet with Inocente "Chente" Guerrero, Manuel Guerrero, Guillermo Guerrero, and Alberto Guerrero. Their rise to fame started with the albums Suerte He Tenido and Del Rancho a la Sierra in 2001, showcasing their traditional "campirano" style. Signing with Univision Music Group, they released Alegres Sentimientos in 2002, produced by Javier Parra and with Octavio Guerrero as a new member.
