Biography
Emerging as underdogs from the 2001 ITV talent show Popstars, Liberty X, consisting of Tony Lundon, Kelli Young, Kevin Simm, Michelle Heaton, and Jessica Taylor, defied expectations by outshining the show's winners, Hear'Say. Despite facing a legal challenge that led to adding the X to their name, Liberty X became one of the U.K.'s leading pop acts, achieving chart-topping success with hits like "Just a Little" and "Got to Have Your Love" from their debut album, Thinking It Over.
Following their initial triumphs, Liberty X's momentum waned with disappointing sales of their subsequent albums, leading to the group's disbandment in 2007.
