Left Lane Cruiser, led by slide guitarist Freddie J. Evans IV, specializes in a raw hillbilly punk-blues style reminiscent of North Mississippi hill country-blues icons Junior Kimbrough and R.L. Burnside. Operating primarily as a two-piece, their music combines swampy blues with snarling garage punk, showcased on their 2006 debut album Gettin' Down on It.
