Biography

Hailing from a family of renowned surfers in Oahu, Hawaii, Landon McNamara transitioned from competitive surfing and modeling to pursue a music career, drawing inspiration from icons like Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix. Influenced by his neighbor Jack Johnson's success in both music and surfing, McNamara released his debut album, A Dollar Short & a Minute Late, in 2016 with producer Noah Cronin, featuring acoustic reggae-pop tracks that topped digital and Billboard reggae charts. In 2017, he released the socially conscious single "Loss for Words" in response to global mass shootings.
