Klaus Schulze

Klaus Schulze, a pioneering figure in contemporary electronic music, established his reputation as a solo artist and member of influential groups like Tangerine Dream and Ash Ra Tempel. His innovative use of synthesizers and sequencers in albums like Timewind and Moondawn laid the groundwork for new age, ambient, and techno music. Born in Berlin in 1947, Schulze's musical journey began in the '60s with local bands before joining Tangerine Dream and co-founding Ash Ra Tempel.
