Biography
Kim Weston, best known for her duets with Marvin Gaye, had some solo success in the '60s but never reached the heights of Martha Reeves or Diana Ross. Born Agatha Natalie Weston in Detroit in 1939, she signed with Motown and scored a minor R&B hit with "Love Me All the Way." Her biggest solo hits were "Take Me in Your Arms (Rock Me a Little While)" and "Helpless." Weston left Motown in 1967 and had limited success with subsequent record labels. She resurfaced in the '80s with re-recordings of her hits for the Northern soul market and released two albums on the Motorcity label.
