In 2008, StarGuardMuffin made their debut with the EP "Ziemia Obiecana," gaining popularity in 2010 through the "Mam Talent" program and the success of Kamil Bednarek, the vocalist, composer, lyricist, and multi-instrumentalist. The band released the album "Szanuj" during this period, achieving double platinum status. In 2011, they visited Jamaica, recording the maxi-single "Jamaican Trip" at the Tuff Gong studio of the Marley family, featuring guest appearances by Capleton, Stephen Newland, Dean Fraser, and members of Shaggy's band.

In 2012, the band BEDNAREK was formed, releasing the album "Jestem..." which topped the OLiS charts for over 12 months. A year later, a supplement with remixes, dubs, and live versions was released, earning the album diamond status. In 2013, BEDNAREK won at the MTV Music Awards in Central Europe. The band also released a concert DVD/CD from Przystanek Woodstock in 2014 and the album "Oddycham" in 2015, recorded at Tuff Gong with reggae stars like Alborosie and Junior Kelly. Kamil Bednarek's album "TALIZMAN" released on December 1, 2017, through his own SPACE RECORDS label, achieved gold status within a month. The band's participation in MTV Unplugged in 2018 resulted in the album "MTV Unplugged BEDNAREK," the second album released independently by the artist. The "BEDNAREK INACZEJ 2020" project features Kamil Bednarek on vocals, Agnieszka Musiał on vocals, Jan Smoczyński on keyboards, Kamil Siciak on drums, Maciej Mąka on guitar, and Adam Kabaciński on bass guitar.
