JUDY AND MARY

Judy and Mary, a pop-punk band from Japan, gained mainstream success in the late 1990s with their quirky style and catchy music. Fronted by vocalist Yuki, the band's debut album, J.A.M., showcased their punk roots before evolving into a versatile group experimenting with various genres like rock, pop, and ska. As they gained popularity, Judy and Mary's playful approach to punk music appealed to a wide audience, leading to their final album release in 2001 and a farewell show at Tokyo Dome.

Following their journey in the music scene, Yuki pursued other projects post-Judy and Mary, including collaborations with artists like Mean Machine and Chara. Despite disbanding, Judy and Mary's legacy lives on through various best-of compilations that celebrate their unique sound and impact on the Japanese music scene.
