Biography

Born in Puerto Rico in 1986, Fernando Sierra, known by his solo alias Jory Boy, is a musician who co-founded the reggaeton duo Nova y Jory. Moving to the United States at ten years old, he grew up in Camden, New Jersey, where he began his music career as a teenager. In 2003, he partnered with Fernando Gonzalez (Nova) to create music reflecting their shared experiences. Their collaboration led to the release of mixtapes and their debut album "Mucha Calidad" in 2011 before the duo disbanded in 2012. Since then, Jory Boy has pursued a solo career, releasing his first full-length album "Matando la Liga" in 2015 and following up with "Otra Liga" in 2016, featuring collaborations with artists like Ozuna and Maluma. Continuing to release singles, Jory Boy is set to release "Otra Liga 2" in mid-2018.
