Born Javorius Scott in 1998 in Bogalusa, Louisiana, JayDaYoungan began his music career at 18 with the release of his first mixtape, Ruffwayy. Influenced by Southern rap legends, he quickly gained a large following with viral hits like "Spinning" and "Taking Off." JayDaYoungan's prolific output included mixtapes like The Real Jumpman23 and Wake Up, leading up to his 2020 studio debut, Baby23, featuring collaborations with DeJ Loaf and Moneybagg Yo. Tragically, JayDaYoungan passed away in 2022 at the age of 24.

Following his untimely death, a posthumous release titled Forever 23 2x came out in 2023, featuring unreleased tracks and debuting on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Throughout his career, JayDaYoungan's music showcased a blend of Southern rap influences and melodic elements, resonating with millions of fans worldwide.
