IZA has established herself as a prominent figure in the Brazilian pop music scene, gaining recognition through her YouTube channel where she covers songs by artists such as Beyoncé, Adele, and Rihanna. In 2018, she released her debut album "Dona de Mim," featuring collaborations with notable Brazilian musicians and earning a Grammy Latino nomination for Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese.
Making a mark at Rock in Rio 2017 with a special performance alongside Cee Lo Green, IZA returned in 2019 for a highly acclaimed show with Brazilian music icon Alcione. Her presence on the Billboard Social 50 at #34 in 2020, along with the global campaign partnership with the UN for her song "Let Me Be The One" featuring Maejor, further solidified her international impact. Continuing her success in 2021 with the release of the hit single "Gueto" and subsequent tracks like "SEM FILTRO," IZA maintained momentum with singles like "FÉ," "MOLE," "MÓ PAZ," and "DROGA" in 2022.
In July 2023, IZA dropped the single and music video for "Fé nas Maluca," featuring a special appearance by Mc Carol. Shortly after, in early August, she released her highly anticipated second album, "AFRODHIT," through Warner Music. The album, comprising 13 mostly original tracks, is now available on all major digital platforms.
