South Korean pop singer/songwriter HyunA, born Kim Hyun-ah in Seoul, began her music career in 2006 as a member of the girl groups Wonder Girls and 4Minute. Transitioning to a successful solo career in the early 2010s, she released her debut EP, Bubble Pop!, in 2011, which included the international hit title track. HyunA achieved international success with chart-topping singles like "Ice Cream" and "Roll Deep," expanding her reach into the Japanese and U.S. markets with subsequent EP releases.
Continuing her solo endeavors after 4Minute's disbandment in 2016, HyunA released a series of EPs, including A Talk and A'wesome, showcasing her versatile vocal style and ability to tackle multiple genres. In 2018, following a publicized relationship with fellow artist E'Dawn, she signed with P-Nation, Psy's label, and released the single "Flower Shower" at the end of the year, marking her comeback to the music scene.
