Grupo Marca Registrada was formed in 2014 in Culiacán, Sinaloa. The group was initially founded by Álvaro Álvarez, with Fidel Castro joining as the lead vocalist, accordionist, and composer. The band's early years were marked by lineup changes as they strived to find the right chemistry, eventually settling on the current four-member lineup: Fidel Osvaldo Castro, Luis Fernando Medina, Fidel Jiménez, and Ángel Mondragón.
Inspired by successful artists, Grupo Marca Registrada released their debut album to positive reception, gradually gaining popularity and recognition for their talent. Despite facing challenges along the way, the group persevered and continued to evolve, solidifying their position in the music scene with a growing fan base.
