Grupo Bryndis, a Grammy-winning Mexican grupero band, formed in Cerritos, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, with members Mauro Posada, Gerardo Izaguirre, Claudio Montano, Juan Guevara, and Tony Solis. They signed with Disa in 1988 and gained radio attention with their cover of Miguel Gallardo's "Otro Ocupa Mi Lugar." Their breakthrough album, Por el Amor, achieved gold status in 1994, leading to a successful career with chart-topping singles and albums throughout the 1990s and 2000s.
After winning a Latin Grammy in 2007 for Solo Pienso en Ti, Grupo Bryndis transitioned to EMI and continued their success with albums like La Magía de Tu Amor and Adicto a Ti. The band saw lineup changes over the years but remained prolific, releasing hits collections and maintaining a strong fan base. Their enduring popularity was evident in their 2016 album, A Nuestro Estilo, following a series of successful tours and chart-topping singles.
