Greta Van Fleet, a rock band formed in Frankenmuth, Michigan, has gained popularity as a live act, selling over one million tickets worldwide and performing more than 250 sold-out shows across five continents. In their third album, Starcatcher, the quartet chose to record the music live to capture the energy of their performances and showcase their growth as musicians. The band members include Josh Kiszka (vocals), Jake Kiszka (guitar), Sam Kiszka (bass/keyboards), and Danny Wagner (drums).
Departing from their meticulous recording process for their previous album, The Battle at GardenΓÇÖs Gate, Greta Van Fleet opted for a looser and instinct-driven approach for Starcatcher. Produced by Grammy winner Dave Cobb, the album features a more stripped-down production, highlighting the band's musical prowess and evolution in songwriting while reflecting on their early days as determined teenagers honing their sound.
