Biography

G-Dragon, also known as Kwon Ji-Yong, is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, and producer. He began his career at the age of 11 when he signed with YG Entertainment and later joined the popular group Big Bang. G-Dragon released his first solo album, Heartbreaker, in August 2009, which achieved significant success in Korea and topped the Gaon chart.

In 2013, G-Dragon released his second album, Coup d'Etat, featuring collaborations with various artists such as Diplo, Missy Elliot, and Sky Ferreira. The album topped both the Gaon and Billboard World Albums charts and won the World's Best Album at the 2014 World Music Awards. G-Dragon has also ventured into fashion and art, collaborating with artists like Taeyang, Skrillex, and M.I.A.
