Biography

Fun. is a pop trio from New York City, formed by former members of bands such as the Format, Steel Train, and Anathallo. The group gained mainstream success with their 2012 album "Some Nights," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned them two Grammy Awards.

Following the breakup of the Format in 2008, Nate Ruess teamed up with Jack Antonoff and Andrew Dost to create Fun. The band's debut album, "Aim and Ignite," was released in 2009, showcasing a sound influenced by Queen and ELO. Their sophomore album, "Some Nights," produced by Jeff Bhasker, incorporated hip-hop elements and spawned hit singles like "We Are Young," featuring Janelle Monáe. Fun. received critical acclaim and won multiple Grammy Awards for their work.
