Farruko, born Carlos Efren Reyes in 1991 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, is a reggaeton and Latin pop singer. He gained early recognition by posting songs on MySpace under his stage name at the age of 16. Farruko's debut album, "El Talento del Bloque," released when he was 18, was well-received and featured collaborations with various artists. His subsequent releases, including "TMPR: The Most Powerful Rookie" and "Farruko Presenta los Menores," further solidified his success in the Latin music scene.
In 2015, Farruko won Latin Grammy Awards and continued to release chart-topping singles and albums, such as "Visionary" and "Trapficante." Despite facing legal troubles in 2018, he persevered and released his eighth album, "Gangalee," in 2019. Farruko has collaborated with numerous artists and remains a prominent figure in the reggaeton and Latin pop genres.
