Biography

En Vogue, a vocal R&B group formed in 1989 by producers Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy, gained fame for their impeccable harmonies and diverse musical styles. Comprised of Terry Ellis, Cindy Herron, Maxine Jones, and Dawn Robinson, the quartet released their debut album "Born to Sing" in 1990, which produced four major hit singles. Their follow-up album, "Funky Divas," released in 1992, further solidified their success with multiple Top Ten pop hits.

After lineup changes and legal battles, En Vogue continued to release music, with their fourth album "Masterpiece Theater" in 2000 and subsequent releases in the following years. The group faced challenges, including label changes and member departures, but reunited in 2018 to release "Electric Café" with collaborations from various artists. Throughout their career, En Vogue maintained a reputation for their distinctive sound and influential contributions to the R&B genre.
