Biography

Empire of the Sun, the Australian electro-glam-pop duo comprising Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore, gained recognition for their hit single "Walking on a Dream." Formed after collaborating on a track for Pnau's 2007 album, the duo drew inspiration from acts like Phoenix and Daft Punk. Their debut album, Walking on a Dream, released in 2008, achieved platinum status in Australia and produced the globally successful title track. Following a brief hiatus for Littlemore to work on Cirque du Soleil music, the duo released their second album, Ice on the Dune, in 2013, and continued to create music with notable guest appearances on their subsequent releases.
