Biography

El regional Mexican group El Trono de Mexico, known for their duranguense music, was established in 2004. They released several albums including Soy Dos Veces Mexicano (2004), El Pesudo (2005), El Muchacho Alegre (2006), and Fuego Nuevo (2007), with hits like "No Te Apartes de Mí," "Ganas de Volver Amar," and "Se Fue." Universal Latino acquired the band's back catalog, reissued El Muchacho Alegre and Fuego Nuevo in 2007, and put out a compilation album, Las Famosas del Trono: Grandes Éxitos (2008). Subsequently, El Trono de Mexico signed with DBC Entertainment and released Cruzando Fronteras in 2008.
