Deltron 3030 is an underground hip-hop supergroup consisting of Deltron Zero, the Cantankerous Captain Aptos, and Skiznod the Boy Wonder. Their self-titled album and single were released in 2000 on 75 Ark Records, taking listeners on a futuristic journey to the year 3030 where they explore the galaxy as the sole survivors of Earth. The trio's involvement in the Gorillaz album in 2001 renewed interest in Deltron 3030, with rumors of a second record circulating from 2004 onwards.

In 2013, the highly anticipated Event II was released, featuring a diverse guest list including Zack De La Rocha, David Cross, Black Rob, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Damon Albarn. The album followed a performance of ten new tracks by Deltron 3030 at Toronto's Luminato festival in 2012, signaling the group's return after an eight-year hiatus. Throughout the years, the individual members, such as Dan the Automator, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, and Kid Koala, continued to pursue solo projects and collaborations, further establishing their presence in the music industry.
