Their fourth album, Jesus Freak, released in the mid-'90s, became a major success in Christian contemporary music, debuting as the highest for a gospel act on Billboard's album charts. The trio's evolution included a shift towards a grunge band image before the album's release, showcasing a mix of raging guitars within their signature pop/rock sound. Jesus Freak went on to outsell any gospel album in history, with over one million copies sold. Their subsequent album, Supernatural, followed in 1998, further solidifying their popularity in the music scene.
