Actor and musician Darren Criss rose to fame after joining the cast of Glee in November 2010. He quickly became a series regular following the success of the show's rendition of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream," where he showcased his vocal talents alongside the Beelzebubs a cappella group. Prior to Glee, Criss gained recognition for his role in the popular YouTube musical comedy A Very Potter Musical, which he co-wrote and starred in during his time at the University of Michigan.
